How Artus Air delivers certainty of comfort

Coverage

High performance and uniform temperature from less energy.

Artus patented technology enables air to leave horizontally and mix with the room in a radial, 360° motion. Unlike other products on the market, the Artus unit uses a curved shroud and axial fan that enables horizontal air throw.

Illuminating stratification and ‘air dumping’ with a low pressure zone located in the unit, Artus inducts air quickly whilst decreasing temperature differences and air velocities in the supply air.

The large U-shaped coil allows for a much larger heat exchange surface area compared to the footprint. This means the fan can run much slower than normal for high levels of thermal comfort performance, making Artus a market leader in thermal comfort and energy efficiency.

Unlike systems reliant on diffusers, where mixing is slower and uneven, Artus integrates distribution within the unit, enabling uniform temperature, consistent comfort, and no hot or cold spots.

Temperature

Artus units deliver market leading thermal comfort by maintaining precise temperatures at a uniquely low fan speed.

The component configuration inside the unit enables air mixing and temperature uniformity like no other product of it’s kind.

The Artus U‑shaped coil provides a significantly greater heat‑exchange surface area than traditional fan coil units, enabling Artus to deliver more cooling and more heating from a it’s compact form and smaller ceiling footprint.

Noise

Thanks to our patented axial fan, Artus units provide exceptional performance at at an incredibly low fan speed. This creates efficiency at near silent operation.

Our unique air path minimises internal turbulence and pressure drops, allowing air to move easily and quietly through the unit without the need for attenuators.

More traditional products need ducts and diffusers to achieve the same performance as an Artus unit, the introduction of these additional components create more noise sources and therefore, additional products are usually procured to solve the problem, such as attenuators.
